Dan is the Strength and Conditioning coach at Wellington College, Berkshire and also works with Scottish Exiles Rugby and the Emerging Players at the Surrey County Cricket Club. Dan has been involved within Strength and Conditioning for over 5 years, with a background prior to this in professional cricket in England. Dan has specialized and subsequently has extensive experience of working with young and developing athletes and has a clear philosophy of the importance of educating sound movement patterns and developing strong and robust athletes at a young age.In completing his MSc in Strength and Conditioning Science from St Mary’s University, Twickenham, Dan conducted his dissertation in to the validity and reliability of the Myotest accelerometer and has a personal interest in the science of monitoring the freshness and fatigue of athletes. Dan’s other areas of interest relate to the practice of coaching, which is highlighted by having work published on this topic: Pratt, D. (2010).
