This 1 day practical workshop develops the delegates understanding of the various training principles for sports performance. Allowing delegates to accurately apply sound scientific principles, to improve performance, reduce the risk of injury, and encourage a healthy active lifestyle.
The aim of this workshop is to introduce the importance of achieving adequate nutrition and hydration for optimizing sports performance, as well as understanding the application of this for the individual.
Agility is defined as a rapid whole body movement with change of velocity or direction in response to a stimulus. (Sheppard & Young, 2006)
This workshop is an introduction to the fundamental principals and practical application of Agility training.
This workshop builds on candidates existing knowledge, introducing them to the specific training variable of Plyometrics, developing theoretical knowledge, and introducing accurate practical delivery.
